Transcript/Replacement Parchment

You can obtain a set of result transcripts by the following methods:
  1. In person from the Registry Information Desk on St. Patricks Campus and Glasnevin Campus during office opening hours (
  2. Via post to Registry Information, The Registry, DCU, Glasnevin, Dublin 9 citing your name, contact phone number, student id, programme, date of birth and year(s) required. Please include your current address if you want us to return the transcript(s) by post or the name of the person who will collect them.
  3. Via telephone 00353 1 700 5338 option 1
There is a small charge for paper transcripts
                €5 per year
                €15 full set of Undergraduate Transcripts (€5/additional set)
You can pay via:
  1. Cheque/Postal Order payable to DCU Registry
  2. Credit/Debit Card over the telephone

Transcript requests are normally processed within one working day but may take longer during busy periods. Please note programmes containing academic years prior to 1996 make take up to 3 weeks to produce.

Electronic transcripts are now currently available to all undergraduate students who commenced their programmes in 2012 and for Postgraduate students who commenced in 2015.

Replacement Parchments

When making the request you will need to have the following information: Student number, Name and date of birth, Programme title and year of graduation, Email address, Contact telephone number and postal address, Form of payment – Credit Card/Laser/Bank Draft/Cheque, Statutory Declaration Form signed by a Commissioner of Oaths stating that your original parchment has been destroyed or lost (available from DCU Exams Office) The completed form should be forwarded along with a fee of €70 to: Examinations Office, Registry, Dublin City University Dublin 9 If you require further information please call +353 1 7005338 (Option 2).
